2002 Honda S2000 or 2013 Dodge Charger SE?

Buying a new car soon. Can't decide
Honda S2000
Pros:
Manual
Convertible (I live in California)
Better gas mileage
9000 rpms

Cons:
2 seater
237 horsepower
V6 (exhaust is kinda high pitched)

Dodge Charger
Pros:
V8
292 Horsepower
Newer
Sedan

Cons:
Horrible gas mileage
Automatic

I would go with the Dodge just because it is 11 years newer so it will be less likely to break down on you as soon. Looking at the gas mileages you would barely be getting any better with the Honda. Living in California you should have no problem with a RWD vehicle in snow. Also the Dodge will be much more roomy to drive friends around and a lot more truck space. Also a Dodge Charger is super awesome!

I would go with the S2000! I love that car. I think it's quite possible for the 2002 Honda to out live the 2013 Dodge and need fewer repairs. That just my opinion since I don't know what the previous owners have done with the cars.

  • Value of 2002 Honda S2000 - Rebuilt title? How much do you all think a 2002 S2000 with 49000 miles on it and a rebuilt title should sell for? Besides the rebuilt part, it is in excellent shape.

  • Is a 2013 Dodge Charger reliable? I'm going to get a new car but i'm not rich and my Chevy Camaro gave out on me it was used, but i'm looking at another used Charger, i been thinking of just switching to Toyota, Honda or Nissan. But is a Dodge Charger as reliable as those three bands?
