1996 honda accord transmission problems?
Was told the transmission is running high? What's does this mean and of course how to fix it?
Running high? Never heard of a transmission running high and there's no such thing. Maybe not shifting into a high gear. Get it repaired at a cost of between about $200 to about $3,000 depending on the problem.
- Transmission going out on friend's 2004 Impala. Is it possible to install a manual transmission taken from a 1992 Honda Civic in this car? Not worth replacing trans on a car this old, but the engine and everything else are still perfect. My friend was able to get a free manual trans from a 1992 Honda Civic. But i'm not sure whether or not you can use a trans from a different vehicle
- My old shape honda fit is giving me problems with the gearbox(automatic transmission)? It started last month when it was not moving on drive or reverse. I changed the transmission fluid and it moved a little. Someone recommended automatic transmission treatment, i filled it. Now it does not have power to move. It can't go up the slope, it rolls back even on drive. What should i do?
- Known problems for a 1998 Honda Civic with a manual transmission? I'm looking to buy a 1998 Honda Civic with a manual transmission. I want to know the main problems with these cars. I know a lot of people dislike these cars and call them "rice burners" but I like them in my opinion. **Good comments as well as bad comments**
- Transmission problems, 01 Honda Accord 214,000 miles? When I start my car and put it into drive my car jerk once or twice then I drive and it doesn't shift right sometimes it gets stuck in a gear and I have to come to an almost complete stop and start going again for it to go into the right gear, the engine will rev up but the car won't move any faster. Could it just be a busted solenoid or could my whole transmission be going out? How can I tell the difference?
