2000 honda accord which goes first front or rear wheel bearings? - 1
Front goes first, unless you're backing up. Mine has 160k miles. I have no indication of wheel bearings going out. Of course, I just jinxed myself.
Hi it is never that simple kid some last forever and some a few years.
however after 15 years they have done well. Don't you think at all.
Since we drive mostly forward then the front is always first.
The front has more weight riding on it because of the engine, so it makes sense that it wears out faster than the rear.
But due to some imperfection or other factors the rear could go out first, like if the grease came out due to overheating brake rotor and other issues.
- Where do i get rod bearings for a 1997 Prelude SH? I have a 1997 Honda Prelude Type SH, however the 1997 had 50mm rod journals as opposed to the 1998-2001 which had 55mm journals. Everywhere I've gone to or called has told me the bearings from 1997 to 2001 are all the same, which is not true. I have proof of the old bearings in my hands. I've tried Napa, Autozone, Oriellys, Jegs. I even called ACL and Clevite/Mahle and they still all believe the bearings are the same. Where do I get bearings for this car of mine.
