2001 Honda Accord in KM but I can't read Miles at night?
I guess the inner or alternate speed is not back lit. My car is in KM but I can't read my mileage at night. Has anyone found a solution?
Instrument Panel Brightness: It could be the bulbs burnt out for the dash cluster, you can buy them from your local Honda dealer.
The knob on the instrument panel (Dash cluster) or Rheostat controls the brightness of the instrument panel lights. Turn the knob to adjust the brightness. See the diagram.
If not check the dash's driver side fuse box, fuse # 9 (7.5A) as indicate under the box lid. You can also go to this site and download the Owner's manual for free from Honda: http://owners.honda.com/...s/informa…

Before you go messing with the inside of your dashboard… Check the fuses! My 1985 dodge ram 100 custom did the same thing. And it just ended up being a blown fuse. I'm not saying that's what it is but I'm just saying to check the simpler stuff before you get into the bigger stuff. Hope this helps ya out fella!

- How to read spark plugs over time? I know how to read spark plugs but over time, would a reading be accurate? Have a Honda whose spark plug is maybe 2 years old, would its reading still be similarly accurate as if it was only after a first good week of use? Stock everything, the porcelain is black, I'm upjetting now with a aftermarket exhaust and filter, should I upjet with if the porcelain is black? With the length of time? Should I try a new reading with a new plug? (Already installed one)

- How to read the wear indicator groove in disc brake pad, Civic? The groove is now about 1 millimeter deep, so I'm thinking it is time to have my mechanic replace them soon. But I don't know how deep they were to begin with. Not sure if I should keep using these for a while or not. Can anyone tell me the original depth of the groove or whether I should wait or act now? 2006 Honda Civic LX sedan, front wheels.
