2002 honda accord shut off in middle of driving?
Hi so what doe you expect from a 13 year old to do work like a new one no way and no how years of poor maintainance, wear and abuse are why it probably has a host of faults. As i don't currently have crystal ball which works i have n oxide why.
My first thought is the timing belt snapped. Second thought is bad gas gauge and out of gas. Third is fuel pump quit.
Did it restart?
- What's happens to a car if you shut off the engine while you're stepping on the gas pedal? I have this 2002 Honda Accord I was playing around with that got sold for scrap. I was wondering what would happen if I held the gas pedal at about 4,000 RPMs and then proceed to shutoff the car while holding it at 4,000 rpms. I tried this, nothing bad seemed to have happened. The engine rpms quickly climbed down and the engine shut off like it should. I started the car again and everything seemed normal. Does this actually harm anything if you do this?
- Right side of my 1994 Honda accord hood doesn't shut all the way? The left side closes perfectly but the right side seems to not want to close all the way even after spraying Wd40 on the latch, mechanical help please.
- My 2009 Honda Accord coupe shut down, engine light on? Ok, it shut down while driving. I was able to start it back up and has been fine since. I checked gas cap and the engine light went off but has since come back on. I know I should take it in, but thought I would ask maybe someone knows something to do now. This happened yesterday.
- Is the sound a muffler problem if it is coming from the middle of the car? I found a 98 Honda Accord for sale by owner for $1000. It has a sound coming from the middle, and I think that I could feel some vibration coming from the shift stick. Owner said that it is the muffler. What do you think?
