2007 Honda Accord coupe/timing belt change?
90,000 miles, I believe. It's in your owner's manual.
The timing belt on the V6 must be changed every 105,000 miles or every 60,000 miles under severe conditions. This is an interference engine and as such if the belt breaks you will severe engine damage.
- 2000 honda cr-v b202z engine .i replaced timing belt and now it won't idle. I set the timing. I did all the steps? 2000 honda cr-v b202z engine. I replaced timing belt and now it won't idle. I set the timing. I did all the steps?
- Is it worth buying a 1999 Honda Accord for $1300, but the timing belt is broke? The owner said it broke while he was driving it, but hasn't touched the car since. It's a single shaft, and by the reports I read on honda accords, usually nothing happens to the valves and pistons in the engine. But just wanted to know everyone's thoughts. The car has 200k miles, but had a brand new transmission.
- How much to fix water pump/timing belt on 96 honda accord coupe? So this woman is selling a 1996 honda accord coupe lx, auto, with about 170k miles on it and she recently replaced the radiator but the mechanics apparently told her the water pump/timing belt need to be replaced as well which I'm aware is typical for v4 honda accord. What I'm wondering is would it be worth to buy the car at $700 and get it fixed myself and how much would it be for the labor and the parts? And is the car worth that.
- How much should a timing belt replacement cost at a Honda dealership for a 2010 Honda Accord? Our car is in for some work where they already have the engine pulled. They said it would cost $750 to replace the timing belt (nearing 100k miles) since they already have the engine out, rather than the $1,200 if we brought it later to get it done. This seems really expensive to me. My wife spoke with them so I haven't been able to find out whether that is just for the timing belt, or if it is also water pump/other belts too.
