2008-2012 Honda Accord Coupe v6 vs 2006-2008 Honda Civic Si for college?
Just sold my mustang and am looking for something to replace it. I need something reliable, holds resale value and if at all possible, fun to drive.
I love the look of the accord, but don't know if they are as fun as the civic si?
I'm about 6 foot 3 but I can fit in the si comfortably.
What do you guys think? I was originally going to buy a beater car but I have a 40 mile commute to school and a 60 mile commute to work, and didn't want to run the risk of breaking down
For that commute, you're going to want a Civic. Gas prices are only going one direction.
Civic SI is more fun and holds it's value abit better than Accords. Even though the V6 motors have vtec it's not the same.
You should also look at the Impreza WRX/STi if you're looking for a reliable, fun to drive, mod friendly, AWD daily driver.
Doesn't matter what we think. What matters is which car is fun to you and suits your needs. The Si is much smaller car than the Accord but if you don't ever need to haul people around, it's probably a better choice for you.
Honda Accord Coupe. I think it looks much better then Si. The Accord's pleasing blend of engaging driving dynamics and a spacious interior keeps it at the top of the market. It has smoother downward-curving roofline, more sculpted flanks, and different styling around the rear. Everyone can find something to fall in love with when it comes to this pioneering sedan. It can function as a family car, or it can be dressed up and equipped to take on the bright lights of the city streets. Silky smooth performance, technologically advanced options, and a sleek, aerodynamic body-on-frame design elevate the Accord to certain Hall of Fame status.
- Which is better Honda civic 2006 or vw Passat 2006? I'm getting a car soon and I can't decide which one. Which has better reputation, safety, which will last me longer? They're both in good shape. About 130,000 miles on both.
- What would be a better car a 2012 Honda Civic or a 2012 KIA Soul? I'm going to buy one of those cars and I want to know the best things about them both. What do you guys recommend.
- Used 2012 Honda Civic Coupe with 60,000 miles. Is it ok to buy? I'm looking at a Certified Pre-owned Honda Civic Coupe. It's 2012 with 60k miles on it and Carfax said it averaged 22k miles per year. No accidents reported and only one owner. The price is good is $14,000 right now and I'll probably negotiate it down. The main question: Is 60k too much on a 2.5 year old vehicle? Even if it's CPO?
- Can the 2008 Honda Civic Coupe's windshield wipers wipe snow, or ice, or the 2008 Honda Civic Coupe's windshield wipers can't? Wipe snow or ice during cold temperatures? The 2008 Honda Civic Coupe is operated in New York City.
