Add my wife's name in my car's title?

I just got married 2 days ago. My brother-in-law and my sister offered me their old car (Honda Accord 2001) like a gift for me. My brother-in-law gave me a handwriting letter + his car's document and asked me to go to DMV, San Diego, CA. Right now, i want you guys to help me answer these following questions:
1/ Which documents do i have to bring to DMV?
2/ If i would like to add my wife's name in this car's title, which documents do we need to prepare?
Is it mandatory that she must go to DMV with me or only me is enough?
3/ How much do i have got to pay for this service?
4/ My wife has another car but she has a loan on her owner car. So that's why i'm unable to add my name in her car's title. Is it correct? We have the different car insurance, will it have influence on this activity?

You should be able to add your wife's name when you go to the DMV.

  • My wife's but is too big for the backseat of of my Honda Rebel 250? How to make a bigger backseat? My wife finds the backseat of my 2006 Rebel uncomfortably small. I've searched the internet to see if they make a larger option, but I haven't found anything. Is there a larger backseat I can buy? I'm considering building my own.   • When you buy/lease a brand new car, are you able to add things/customize it at the dealer? In 2014 my friend financed a base model Jetta brand new red. However his model came with fog lights and LED turn signals but had hub caps. However, my other friend had a 2014 Jetta as well and had the middle trim and had no fog lights or LED turn signals but had aluminum alloy rims. Can you add things like that to a car? I know at Honda if I wanted Fog lights on the middle trim they would ask me to upgrade entirely to the highest trim which i don't need, I just want the fog lights

  • How to title a motorbike that has no title or bill of sale? I have a Honda CT70 that was purchased at an auction many years ago. I do not have a bill of sale and the bike was never titled because it was never street legal. I would like to restore it and get it titled to ride around town. Any help is appreciated.
