Give me tips on how to negotiate on a car?
I have my eyes on 2 prius', they are just a couple grand out of my comfortable price range. I believe they are 07's and their asking price isn't ridiculous, but according to kbb, going down a grand or two is still a good asking price.
my father isn't much help, because he is set on a honda or some other toyota. How can i talk them down? I'll have to be doing it online, because i'm not exactly willing to make the drive by myself as i'm 20 year old not very intimidating girl. But i would make the drive if i really needed to go.
You have to convince the buyer that they need to sell the car more than you want to buy it.
So stop drooling all over it.
Either you or a competent, dispassionate, person needs to examine the car and list EVERY fault they find.
You then need to come up with another dozen reasons you don't want to buy the car.
Then make your offer and be prepared to walk away if it's not accepted.
You really need to make that drive because you NEVER EVER make an offer on a vehicle without inspecting it FIRST.
Do a google search for tips. Thousands of pages have been written on the subject.
Cash talks & BS walks. You won't ever get their best price unless you are willing to buy TODAY.
And if they let you leave after making an offer, you can be sure your offer was not enough because dealers don't let profitable deals leave.
- Motorcycle dealer does not want to negotiate? Should I pass? Trying to buy a 2015 honda pcx150. I've called 2 dealers who both only want me to pay full MSRP + TTL + Fees. Why are they so reluctant to negotiate? I'm a cash buyer. What is their problem? Should I just pass and maybe wait until the winter starts to hit and maybe then they would be more willing to negotiate?
- How many miles per gallon does a motorcycle give? Much cheaper than a car? Some idio actually said a while back that a motorcycle doesn't really give that many more miles per gallon than a car! This honda Rebel gives 84 miles per gallon! http://www.motorcycle-usa.com/...l-250.aspx And an msrp of only $4000 makes it a steal! Plus the legendary reliability of a honda!
- Help on automatic transmission, tips and tricks from any car experts? Hello I'm new to driving and was hoping if someone could give me insight. My honda is automatic and has 3 gears. When I merge onto the freeway, do I go in second gear, accelerate the. Drop down to drive? Please any tricks will be greatly appreciated
- How can I negotiate a 2 year old car model? I'm in the market to buy a new car but I saw the new 2018 Honda Fit are out. I also saw the dealership had a 2016 Honda Fit LX, it is priced at 16k. If a new 2018 Honda Fit with Honda sensing standard starts at 16k, how much should I even get a 2016 base model with no Honda sensing? I know 16k for a 2 year old Model is crazy but what's the lowest can I negotiate for? 10k? 12k?
