Car won't start new battery?
I have a honda accord and I just got a brand new battery put in, new spark plugs, new spark plug wires and car was starting fine until I try to drive it out of my drive way and turned the blinker on and it just shut off no noise or anything just done. Had to push it back up the driveway now none if the light come on or anything, there's nothing when I turn the key…
You probably burnt a fuse by connecting the cables the wrong way, or touching the contacts and grounding out the system. Check the battery fuse. Usually around 80 amps
Blow main fuse or bad earth or connection
- I have a 1996 Honda Shadow ACE. It won't start even though the battery is charged. What can I do? I just got the battery charged and the bike still won't start. I can hear it trying but it just won't catch. I know very little about engines but could it be the fuel pump or carburetor that needs to be cleaned or replaced. If so, how do I do that?
- Bought a 1985 Honda inspector kid told me it needed new battery but started with jump got new battery and it was dead next day? Pretty sure its the alternator just wanted some second opinions also I got the bike for 600 dollars you guys think thats a good deal
- Have a 2003 Honda Rebel, won't start (no power) after it rained, I charged the battery, still nothing? Cold end is a little corroded but nothing serious, has been starting up before the rain. Suggestions? And it should be dry.
- Why won't my car won't start after putting in gas? I have a 2007 civic, 80,000 miles, about a year old battery. Yesterday after I filled up the gas tank my car wouldn't start. Waited about 1 minute and it started fine. This had happened about 4 months ago (I had it checked at Honda) and they said it was okay. But today I went a short distance (15 minutes from home left the car for about 5) and my car didn't want to start. What could it be?
