Comparison between these 2 coupes for me of costs?

I'm 17 going into my senior year and my parents will be getting me a car, they let me choose and they know that i like coupes. I'm a dude and i like sporty coupe cars just how i'm and almost any other dude will as well. I've came down to the 2014 honda accord coupe base model lx-s (automatic transmission) and the 2014 chevy camaro base model 1lt (automatic as well). Would the insurance be the same since both cars are coupes or would it differ? My parents will do the payments for the first few months and i will have to get a job and take over they said. I have always been a camaro fan. I'm not looking for fuel efficiency here because everyone would know the honda would take that medal. But I'm not concerned of that a car is a car to me and i want something I've always liked. Main question is if the insurance rates would differ for any reason?

The Camaro is considered a sports car, the Honda isn't. The insurance on the Camaro will be much higher, especially for a young, inexperienced male driver.

Hey it's not just guys who like the sporty cars! Lol
My insurance from my Hyundai Sonata sedan didn't differ much from my 2014 Camaro. I'm a 17 year old female. Gender causes a price difference, I heard that car color did too. Like red or yellow ones. I'm not sure, but your best bet is to call the insurance company.
My mom did the same with me! I'm paying for it now. I get an average of 21.6 MPG on my V6.

Camaro V6 has 300hp. The insurance will be higher for that reason.

  • Will these rims fit these tires? I have a honda s2k and I was wondering if 17" staggered wheels would fit these size tires 17x7 on 225/45/17 17x8.5 on 255/40/17
  • Which Honda Civic coupes have CVT transmissions? (06-09)? I plan on buying a Honda Civic coupe between the years of 2006-2010 and I'm trying to figure out if any of those Honda civics have CVT transmissions. I test drove a 2013 Honda Civic coupe EX (automatic) and it felt as if I was driving a manual because you could feel the gears change, it sounded amazing and I loved it. So I'm wondering if any of those years have that same feeling.

  • Do Honda Civic Si Coupes cost more to insure? I thought they did since they're technically considered a performance vehicle, but there's a 2006 Honda Civic Si Coupe that I'm interested in purchasing, so I decided to get a quote from my current insurer (I have Geico). It was actually $2.50 cheaper than my current 6 month premium with my 2002 Saturn. I even entered the VIN for the Honda, so they know it's an si, do you think that seems accurate?
