If there isn't a loan on it, no, all you are required to carry is liability.
Need to? Nope. Should you? Yep
You only need to carry what is legally required.
But where you live and whether or not you have a lien ( still owe money ) or not on the Honda can change what is legally required.
That is entirely your option. What do you think? If the car 'disappeared' tomorrow, would you have any problems in your daily life?
Hi tat might not be possible given it's age.
If you are making payments on the car, it is not really your car, YET. Then, yes, you need full coverage so the lender gets reimbursed if you wreck or the car gets stolen. If the car is really yours (100%, no monthly payments) then it's your choice.
- Why does insurance price matter if the car isn't full coverage? I don't understand why my insurance on my 2016 Honda hire than my 2002 Honda. Both cars or only liability coverage. I own both. I don't understand.
