I have a 2004 honda accord ex 2.4 Drive light flashing?

I have a 2004 honda accord ex 2.4. My drive light is flashing constantly. It has no problem going into reverse and first gear. It jerk hard going into 2nd gear

Your transmission is hollering at you for attention. Kind of obvious from the shifting problem. Maybe a transmission shop could help?

The flashing "D" indicator on your dashboard indicates that there an electronic problem with the transmission's electronic controls. Failure to rectify an electronic problem promptly can easily lead to much more expensive mechanical repairs to the transmission. You should take the car to an independent trans shop that has been in business for at least 3 years or a Honda dealer.

  • Why are the lights on my 2004 Honda Pilot dashboard flashing? Some of the dash lights on my Honda Pilot just starting flashing on and off every few minutes. The 2 airbag lights, the brake light, service light will flash on and off. I had the radio on, so the radio would turn off at the same time and come back on when the lights went away. I just had the oil changed Saturday. Drove it Saturday and Sunday and nothing happened until this Monday morning.
  • Flashing check engine light on 02 Honda Oddyssey after Valvoline oil change? Got an oil change at Valvoline, and next day check engine light began flashing. Car was running flawlessly before oil change. They suggested a new fuel filter, as mine was pretty rough. I declined. Got error codes of random misfire, as well as cylinder 1,2,4,6 misfire. Scanner at auto zone listed EGR valve as suggested part. Could this possibly be that the fuel filter is bad or was put back on incorrectly?
  • Honda Civic 2004 LX flashing engine light after thermostat change? I have a Civic that was overheating and I got the engine light checked out and was told to change my thermostat. I changed my thermostat and I refilled it with coolant and for some reason the engine light started blinking and it never went off?
  • 98 Honda Civic Stopped in the road with flashing engine light and had to tow it home? My Civic stopped (169k miles) while driving and now won't start. When checking codes by OBD II scanner, it shows P303, P304, P300 and P1399 which is misfire. Any ideas, how should I go about diagnostics. As car is pretty old, not worth of taking to mechanic Thanks in advance. It was bad battery and bad wireset combination. Replaced both, car started as before.
