IMA and Check Engine light on in 2005 Honda Accord Hybrid?
I was driving for a good 30 minutes and then the IMA and Check Engine warning lights came on. When I got home I shut off my car and turned it back on and the IMA light was gone but the Check Engine light is still on.
It still amazes me after all the questions and answers on this forum how anyone has to ask what to do when a CEL comes on. Take it to an auto parts store and get a free code check.
- Check engine light, open door light, and batterie light all came on and won't go off? 2000 Honda Odyssey I already had the altinator replaced it a month old. The batterie almost a year old. Would the belt need be changed or something else?
- Check engine light turns on for a few days and then turns off for weeks/months? Code P0420 on a 2004 Honda Civic Hybrid? Over the last year my check engine light has come on about 3 or 4 times for a few days at a time and then turns off again for a very long period of time. I know the code means my catalytic converter is below threshold but why would it turn off? Could it be something else? Should I look into replacing it or wait it out? Any advice is appreciated!
- My check engine light was flashing yesterday and now it's off, and today my red oil change light was flashing earlier and then stopped? What does that mean? I drive a Honda Accord, if that helps. My car is driving fine (just a slight jerking every now and then, but that's another issue i'll get fixed). The fact that it did that then stopped worries me… Help?!
- After replacing the ECT sensor for my 1994 Honda Accord EX, check engine light is on and marks code 6? After I fixed the issue with the sensor my check engine light is on and indicates code 6 which is that of the ECT sensor but it's working fine so why is it marking that code? Second ever since replacing that sensor my car won't Start as easy in the morning as it used to. Sometimes after running It for a while and I turn it off, I get this smell of it not using the gas correct because it's smells fresh.
