Is it ok to use red coolant in my 1996 honda accord lx 4 cylinder, 2.2l?

Flushed out my coolant system and i don't know if i should use green or red coolant. Does it even matter? I looked in the reservoir and it looked red but i don't know. I just got this car so i don't know what coolant is right for it, my dad already went and bought red coolant for it though… Was just curious if red would work for it.

Yes it should work - as far as I'm aware the red coolant had better ingredients and is of better quality that the green coloured coolant

Hondas require Honda low silicate BLUE coolant. Green is higher silicate and red is either HOAT or OAT.
