Is this Honda a good purchase?
I'm thinking about purchasing a 2008 Honda Accord EX-L with a 3.5l V6 engine and 140,000 miles. The car is in perfect condition but i'm not sure how long Honda's last compared to Toyota's or other car brands. Does anybody have any experience with this vehicle or Honda's in general that have any opinions?
If it has been properly maintained to factory specs the car with continued maintenance should be good for at least another 75000 miles. I would not pay over 8k for it.
It's only a good buy if you are able to get a very hefty discount for the high miles.
Be sure to ask for all service records. There's routine service that should have been performed that's important. Especially around the 100,000 mile mark. If that's all current then it's going to last a long time.
No idea. How was it maintained?
- Should I have a mechanic inspect the car I'm about to purchase (2009 honda civi hybrid - 52K miles)? It is at wheels and deals. I do not know if they check out the cars or allow inspections. I know nothing about cars. Should I have a shop inspect it? Or is it okay not to do since I'm buying from wheels and deals and the car has very low miles?
- Purchase dropped Honda Ruckus? Front wheel alignment is slightly off? I'm looking to purchase a Honda ruckus. I found a used one that was dropped several times. The steering alignment is off so you have to turn the handlebars slightly to the side to go straight. There's no damage to the body but I'm wondering if this is something that can easily be repaired or should I stay away. Overall it runs well and has a little over 4K miles.
- Would you purchase a 2004 Honda pilot for $6,000.000 that has 216,000 miles on it? I'm just browsing online looking at cars for sale and a lot of them have 200k or more miles on them and they want $4,000 or more. Why do people sale their cars for such a high price with a lot of miles on them? Its not just Hondas its all types of cars private and dealers as well
