My 2000 honda accord won't change gears after i start it?

Have a 2000 v6 honda accord car starts fine just won't change gears i need help as soon as possible…

What can we limit the problems down to?
Brake switch?
Transmission?
My fluids a little low so if i add some could this solve thr problem?

You check your transmission system.may be your gear has blocked.

Find shop at ATRA.COM for quick road test to determine problem. A little low by how much?

Clutch if it's a manual transmission. If it's automatic, probably the brake switch.

Won't change gears? Won't shift. Can't get it out of park? Specifics please.

  • Why won't my car won't start after putting in gas? I have a 2007 civic, 80,000 miles, about a year old battery. Yesterday after I filled up the gas tank my car wouldn't start. Waited about 1 minute and it started fine. This had happened about 4 months ago (I had it checked at Honda) and they said it was okay. But today I went a short distance (15 minutes from home left the car for about 5) and my car didn't want to start. What could it be?
  • Could I change gears when driving? I have a 2005 Honda Civic hybrid and it's a automatic but I saw on YouTube people changing gears on automatic and stuff and I was just asking since mine has S and L could I start from L which is first gear and drive then change to S and then D for drive? So it can sound like a manual car? Would the car allow me to change into those cars while the car is running or will it miss up the transmission?
  • My 1986 Honda Accord won't want to start after trip to mechanic? So I went to the mechanic because my car was hard to start in the morning and I ended up getting a new distributor and a cap. It ran fine and he recommended that I put clear gas in and get fuel injector cleaner. I was full on gas so I waited until I was about 1/4 tank then I filled up with clear gas. It ran well to the gym but when I got out, it took 15 minutes to get it started and it wouldn't idle.
  • 2002 Honda Accord SE won't start after heater hose replaced? I had a 2002 Honda Accord SE overheat the other day. I fixed fan motor, spark plugs, and I replaced the heater hose. Once I replaced the heater hose I couldn't get the car to start anymore. Does anyone know what I could do next? I'm at a loss…
