My AC isn't cooling and compressor isn't turning on?
How can I fix this without having to buy a new compressor?

It is very possible that the reason the compressor clutch is not activating is that the system is low on refrigerant. Most systems have a low pressure cut off switch, so that the compressor is not damaged by running without a charge.
The first thing to do is to have the AC charge checked and recharged if needed. You would also want to have the system checked for leaks, and any leaks repaired.
Compressor? You have no idea what the problem is so why do you want to run out and buy probably the most expensive component of your AC system. Have a shop look it over. Could be as simple as replacing a leaky schrader valve ($2) and a recharge. Stop being a knucklehead!
