Thinking about buying a bmw?
I'm thinking about buying a bmw 3 series the model year i'm looking for will be between like 07-11 and i'm willing to spend around 10k-15k but the thing is will it be worth it because i know bmw parts can be expensive but one of my dad s close friends only works on bmws and other german cars and if somethin ever happens to the car i can bring it to him and he can maybe give me a affordable price but lets hope that won't happen and i'm not really interested in cars from dealer and i looked at criagslist by owner and i found pretty decent ones that looked pretty good and matched my budget and i'm 19 male btw but i really really want a bmw and people say bmws don't break easily and i have an honda accord at the moment
Let me guess
you can afford the car, and not much more.
you have no real concept of "cost of ownership"
you have some minimum wage job and/or is a student.
your real career not yet begun.
you are in school (which means big debt these days)
That's not my business, but I will say that you should do some homework about what repairs these cars typically need.
The next step is often this:
The kid buys the car… Car has 100k-150k miles and sometimes has has little work yet done to it (Or the service history is unknown)
i say avoid any old european cars these days, i can see you want a reliable fast car. I recommend infiniti g37 or lexus IS both very reliable and can hold its own against the likes of bmw
- I'm thinking about getting this kit? I've been wanting to build my honda trx70 beginners sport quad for racing for awhile now. I want to get the 110 kit for it, but i'm not sure if the transmission is going to handle that. And if the 110 kit will burn it up, is the 88 kit worth the money for the small amount of power increase? BTW it is a 4 stroke engine, 100% stock right now
- Was thinking about buying a honda civic ep3 type r and was wondering what should I look out for? I would like some honest help Like when they start having problems Do any parts get stuffed because of **** owners When the engine starts to die What km should I look at
- Thinking of buying a 2019 honda civic coupe but i'm worried how reliable the cvt transmission is? I want to buy a basic honda civic coupe. I want the 2 door because i think it looks cute. But i'm worried how relaible is that cvt transmssion? I want to last atleast 150k miles?
- I'm thinking of buying a 2004 Honda Civic with 90k miles for $6000. How are the repairs on this civic? I know the engine can last over 200000 miles or more but what about other repairs. I'm looking for a car that I can rely on and not spend too much time in the shop. My other option is a 2010 Hyundai Elentera with 43000 miles for $9000. I know the civic has a better resale value, but I'm looking for a car that I can keep the longest with the least repairs. I generally keep a car until I can't use it any longer or it gets to expensive to own.
