What car deal is better for me?
I'm 20 years old and I don't really have any credit besides me paying my credit card bills. I belong to a credit union and since I don't have credit they let me qualify for a high school graduates program where I'm able to get a car for 12,000 and under. I found a car. It's 10,000. It's a 2008 honda accord with 100,000 miles. The credit union said I can get it with 600 down and 280 for 48 months. They also said they fix the car if some goes wrong with it. My second option is save 1000 for a down payment and go get me a newer car with a warranty. The payments may be higher but it depend on the car. Which deal is better?
Will the credit union guarantee that they will make the repairs if needed IN WRITING? It may be possible, but you would still need to have a mechanic do complete inspection of all systems prior to buying
Get a good beater that is not a flash car; those cost money and believe me I feel for the whole car thing and wasted my money when I was a youngin'. Use your money for something besides "Fast & Furious" wannabeing!
Hertz and other rental companies can sell you a car for that price range for a lot less miles and years.
- What's the deal with honda not being able to use coolants with silicates if it makes the coolant better and safer for the engine. Reason? Is it for a reason or just honda wants our cars to last shortly? Any more answers i was checking out that video then checked and notice newer cars don't use the coolant anymore so what's the deal we have to go back to inferior coolant i've read it eats the seals in cars? Any more information?
- Want to install better car stereo but am confused how to make sure what I buy will fit into my car? Confused? I want to install a new stereo system in my car and see those cars out there with the big screens on their stereos and I want something like that, but I have a 1993 honda civic and am honestly confused on how I would buy something like that and it would fit into the dash of my car. Do I have to buy something the exact same size? Do they come with speakers too? Can anyone give me any ideas on where to start. I'm really confused.
- Is this car a good financing deal for someone with bad credit? I have bad credit and can't get financing. But my friend is willing to sell me a 2013 Honda Civic LX for $200 a month for 60 months. It has automatic and 90k miles. Excellent condition. Is this a good deal?
