They probably do so they save money as they know that they don't need a fancy car to get around.

They don't want to drive nice cars to work and maybe most of them arent materialistic so car make and model does not matter to them.

They are probably still trying to pay off years of medicine school.

Same reason why my wealthy friends drive mini vans and econoboxes.

Luxury cars are not investments. They are a vehicle that loses value at an incredible rate and after a few years is worth next to nothing. If you drive a car for transportation and not status, it doesn't make sense to throw money away. Simple as that.

Luxury cars are often purchased by those who can barely afford them in an effort to appear to be wealthy. The wealthy usually know that they are just money down the drain.

Besides paying off their student loans, there's also their property and home and any other probably other property investments they have made, such as rental space in a clinic… If not other property.
. Cars lose their value very quickly so why waste the money on something that depreciates quickly? Better to have money invested in something that makes money(or goes up in value)

MY doc must be the exception. He drives a 7 series BMW, but he doesn't park it directly in front of his office, as he doesn't want his patients to get the idea he's rubbing his wealth in their faces. He's a really cool, down to earth guy.

Cops always let him go with a warning when they stop him for speeding after they find out he's a Dr… Must be some sort of professional courtesy or something like that.

IT costs a FORTUNE to get an M.D. Or other medical degree, and they ALSO tend to make COST a huge issue during training and studying! Many I know drive VOLVOS and other GERMAN cars, so this question makes NO sense to me other than about ECONOMY! BYE NOW!
