Why do people that own German cars hate Japanese cars?
Added (1). I remember asking on here what would be a good car for my grandma, and I had suggested a Honda Accord or Toyota Camry. Later on, since used cars were cheaper, we found a used car for her that was smaller than those, but was also by a Japanese company-the car was a Mazda3.
Anyways, when I asked my question about the Honda and Toyota, this person said that Honda and Toyota make boring cars and German cars are better. He said that too many people bought them. I don't think Mazda is popular though.
Added (2). By the way, that guy owned an Audi, and I do believe those are expensive to maintain compared to cars by brands like Mazda.
They resent the relatively low maintenance costs of Japanese cars.
"HATE" is a really strong word used by stupid people who don't understand what life is all about. Children who think one car is better than another one just because of where it is built are in need of pity, NOT hate.
Not all. That may be only a short few.
Because men who drive Bimmers, Mercs, and even some VWs tend to be (in my opinion) a little stuck up. Granted, most if not all German cars are extremely well made but they lack excitement. Again, in my opinion. Unless of corse you can spend 80 grand on an m3 then more power to you. I think it's just a persona thing tbh.
- Why do some people buy new cars to save gas? It seems like people complain about high gas prices so they go and buy these expensive gas saving cars. Usually a Honda or Toyota hybrid that's about $35,000 dollars. So what's the point of buying the car if you just wasted all that money. You could have just used that money for gas. Don't you think it's better to just buy a cheap $1,000 dollar Honda and save all that money for gas? Because buying the new car you pretty much threw all the money away.
- Why do people get mad over the fact that their cars require full synthetic oil? I work as a mechanic and found some people do not like the fact 2010 and up toyotas and Hondas and almost all 2014 cars and European cars require full synthetic oil. A majority of the anger comes towards toyotas and Hondas. Despite me explaining the increased intervals, they still get angered at the fact. Is it just me or does less time doing oil changes that save you more money in the long run end up coming out cheaper despite the increased price and why would they be angry saving money?
- What are some sites where people rent out their own personal cars? I'm thinking of one, but I forgot the name of it. You'd have a list of people renting their cars out in your area. You could rent anything from a 15yo Honda with a manual trans to newer Teslas and BMWs. Any similar rental services?
- Why do people buy new cars that are in its final year? Like why do people buy 2017 Honda Accord or Odyssey when they are being completely redesigned for 2018? I mean don't you want the latest and the best technology and not 4-5 year old tech?
