Why is my engine light on?
Honda accord 07 from dealership. Everything good but I got an oil change 4 days ago. Yesterday I had a thing come on the dash saying "check oil cap" I've read online about it saying that my filter might just need to be replaced by a Honda footer cause its tighter. I got an oil change from Walmart. Standard oil change. From 20% oil life to 100%. I'm not sure what to do. My engine light comes on now when i drive. Paid $42 for oil change. And they checked my lights and brakes and what not.
Did you by chance "check the oil cap"?
Auto parts stores can read the check engine codes for free, or they can sell you a code reader.
Umm… I think I'd start by checking the oil cap.
I know dealers are more expensive but a service is much more than just change the oil.
If you want you car to last either use a dealer or a specialist to service your car.
They would sort this for nothing after a service.
- Check engine light, open door light, and batterie light all came on and won't go off? 2000 Honda Odyssey I already had the altinator replaced it a month old. The batterie almost a year old. Would the belt need be changed or something else?
- Test light on positive lead on starter relay comes on when the motorcycle is off, when bike key is turn on, test light is off? Does this mean starter relay is bad? I'm trying to diagnose my electrical problem on a honda cbr f4. The lights turned on but when I tried to start bike all power shut off and now nothing powers on.

Anyone know why and how to fix it? I'm assuming the fog light and headlight are in the same circuit so once I installed the led the voltage changed?
- Engine light on, o2 sensor bad, knocing sound from top of engine? Hi, i have honda prelude 98.manual. The problem started with knocing sound from engine for few days! Then all of sudden engine check light comes on! I got engine light checked! It comes o2 sensor bad! Car rpm is really low now touches zero and get back to 200/300 when in neutral
