Are all clutches for small engines the same?
I'm going to buy a go kart with a Honda gx 140 engine. The clutch is not there so I need to know if they're all the same. Also what's the average price and where can I get one? Are they on lawn mowers?
I don't know all the kart ins and outs, but there may be a number of different clutches out there, You probably need the clutch that kart frame uses.
(Lawn mowers generally have no clutch)
- What's the difference between Honda F23A and F23Z4 engines? I have a Honda Odyssey but the engine is total so I got a F23A engine but it comes with the F23Z4, so I wondering if the F23A engine can work?
- Why do motorcycle engines have a random displacment? The ninja 250 was technically 248cc. The Honda cbr300 is 286cc. There are plently of other examples too. I've never seen a bike whose engine is actually what they advertise
- Taking apart a motorcycle engines. What should i Know? I have a 79 honda cb750 and i took the engine out of the frame in hopes of replacing some gaskets. If i take apart the engine and put it back together all in the same order will everything potentially be ok? Is there anything i should know? Any other details would be helpful?
- Bikes using detuned sportbike engines? Some bikes use detuned sportbike engines. For example 1)The FJR1300 uses a detuned R1 engine 2)Street triple uses a detuned daytona engine 3)Honda Phantom TA150, a 2 stroke cruiser uses a detuned NSR150 engine Is it possible to 'retune' these engines so that it churns out the same level of power & performance of the original sportbike? Or is it too elaborate a job involving more then just tuning - changing ECUs, CDIs, remapping, sprockets etc Sorry if its a dumb question
