Can I mix honda 50/50 coolant?
Can I mix a honda 50/50 prediluted coolant with another brand or add water it's been flushed and added couple days ago but somehow empty now and nowhere has honda part until Monday and I need to drive to San Francisco from Sacramento which will be 1 hour drive but the weather in Sacramento is like 90 degrees so far?

Top off with clean water and flush later when you can with honda coolant
I'd stick to one brand of coolant flush the radiator and buy some cheaper prestone universal coolant I use that in my aluminum radiator and no issues
Do I just add water until the reservoir is in the middle between min and max? I was thinking if I have to buy another brand of 50/50 prediluted mix just to add? Is water better than adding a different brand of coolant? It was honda type 2 50/50 prediluted antifreeze
I wouldn't drive it anywhere! If you just had the radiator flushed you shouldn't be empty unless you have a leak. When you can't see a leak it's usually the water pump leaking under the timing belt cover. That will cause the timing belt to jump and bend your valves. Have fun walking. I'm used to people not listening and learning the hard way.
- Why is my 2001 honda civic loosing coolant? I have a 2001 honda civic Ex 1.7L. It is rapidly loosing coolant and I have no idea why. I have taken it to 3 professionally owned shops for the same reason and all three can't find anything wrong with it as far as leaks. My next best guess is that it is burning it somehow but I can't think of why. I did buy a new radiator cap and ill see how that works and there isn't any white smoke coming out of the exhaust so I don't think it is the head gasket.
- Why is coolant leaking from the ends of my top radiator hose on my 1999 honda civic? There isn't water leaking from anywhere else and it only seems to leak when the car has since cooled. It's never enough coolant for me to have to keep filling it up. I have changed the hose and it still seems to be leaking from the end seams. - Can i use toyota pink coolant in a Honda? Reently bought a used civic.someone had put the green stuff in it and the previous owner doesn't know when it was changed. so i flushed out all of the old coolant by just filling water and draining… its currently running on distilled water. Owners manual says use honda blue coolant or equivalent. Do not use silicate based coolant. But i can't find honda blue here. Can i use toyota super long life instead… It is silicate free as well.
