Cars similar to the Honda Element?
Ok so I have a 2004 Honda Element. I'm not sure how much longer I have left with my car before the engine or transmission dies. It has over 320 thousand miles. I took care of it well by only taking it to the dealer over the last 12 years. It was roomy for back seat passengers as well as hauling everything plus easy to clean floors. My family and I basically drove all over the US On various vacations over the years. I know they no longer make these cars so I was wondering if anything else compared or if I should buy another one used when mine kicks the bucket.
Most modern diesels will last that long if properly serviced. VW make a Golf with 180 bhp that still does 60 mpg.
The problem with buying a USED car Is that you don't know how or IF the previous owner took care of it. You are apparently a careful driver and maintain your car well to get it this far. Other vehicle owners aren't so fastidious and MAY not have maintained the car properly. A USED car could last just as long as the one you have now, or it could blow up in your driveway tomorrow morning. There's really no way to know.
If you liked the Element you will like the CR-V also.
This model of Honda, based on the CR-V, was produced from 2003 to 2011. You claim to have a well used 2004 model that seems to be a huge testimony to Honda's design and engineering. Since there are models for sale of this vehicle of other model years, why not look for another one? These cars seem bullet proof and a nice 2010 should be available somewhere for purchase. The vehicle in the photo is a 1903 Renault Model K that is running still due to care and service and repairs. While it may not be "practicable" to replace the transmission only of this 2004 Element due to cost and an "overhaul" of the drive train may prove too high, why not search for a younger model? These cars were not that popular and I'm sure the used prices are very reasonable. Good question and I wish you excellent luck finding a replacement. Otherwise, the Pathfinder is also are reputable model. One of my neighbors has a ten year old one and it has needed zero repairs.
- What is a sporty sedan that is similar to a Saab 9-3? I have had my eyes set on a Saab 9-3 for a while now but everyone says that repairs and maintenance on them is super difficult ever since they went out of business. I want to buy a car that is similar. Quick, stylish, slightly luxurious. I also don't want just an average car like a Honda Toyota etc… I'm willing to spend a little more as long as the price is reasonable. I'm also not trying to buy a 25,000 dollar car. Are there any cars that are similar?
- What's a good starter motorcycle similar to the Honda Rebel? I'm 5'10, and weigh 150 pounds. I like the honda rebel, but i realize that it may be too small for me. I want a good looking, easy to ride, starter bike that has freeway capabilities.
- List of bikes similar to honda crf but cheaper? I would get a crf 85 but they are not your moneys worth at like 2000 pounds so what other bikes can you get cheap?
- I'm looking for a list of cars that look similar to the mazda miata? I'm looking for cars that have the same look/shape. I have a few right now (nissan z, honda s 2000, porsche boxster) i don't have a certain price range or anything. Just similar in the outside. Thank you! I really just need a range of cars that look the same in shape!
