2000 Honda Civic ex what to do to increase power?
What should I do to increase the power in my 2000 Honda Civic ex it's a 2 door automatic, turbo or Supercharger? Which one and why and how don't give a stupid answer if you don't like Hondas then don't answer
Trade it in for a Type R. It's impractical to fit a turbo or supercharger to a standard car. Unless you have unlimited funds. And even then it would be more sensible to trade the car in.
Do a B engine swap. Honda engines are not designed to take boost and dropping in a stock b engine without any aftermarket parts on it will give you around the same amount of power as a similar displacement engine with a medium amount of boost. But in all honesty, see if you can find a RSX Type S or Civic Si that hasn't been beaten up which should have a performance B or K engine already in it. This will save you the hassle of doing the swap and the work will have been done properly at the factory.

I do understand the charge bit on the meter.
