My car has sluggish acceleration in any weather *above* 45 degrees F. When it's cold out, my car takes off like a bat out of hell with pretty much NO acceleration problems. Once it's warm, forget it, it's like driving a turtle.
I had the vacuum lines smoked, no leaks found. Fuel system and throttle body cleaning was just done at Honda last week, no luck.
Fuel trims are STFT 7%, LTFT 7%, which is slightly lean, but I can't figure out what the hell's causing it.
Have you tried the catalytic converter - anyway I think it's time to take your car to a professional repairs and servicing workshop expert t that's been fixing cars for about 20 to 30 years or so - or it could be a electrics fault in which case a auto electrician shop may be able to assist you further
You must drive all if your awaken hours.
"Acts like a vacuum leak"? Go to a mechanic if you are having issues with the way your motor is running. I'have a hunch you're the kind of person that will just guess and start throwing parts at your car and waste a ton of money. You check the fuel trims to diagnose if the motor is running lean. A lean code can be caused by many things. Have you even had your valves adjusted at 60,000 miles> All Honda's have a tendency to get tight valves.

- 99 Honda Prelude crankshaft bult extremely hard to get off. Any suggestions? I have a 99 Honda prelude and believe my crankshaft position sensor went out and so I'm trying to change it out, but in order to do that I have to first remove the crankshaft pulley which is held on by a single bult. I've soaked it in PB blaster for over a week, can't get it off with a breaker bar, a cordless impact, just all around pure strength. And it does supposed to twist counterclockwise to remove. I'm stuck at this point. Any suggestions?
