2012 Honda Civic Lx A Reliable Car?

I'm trying to get my first car. And I found a really good looking 2012 Honda Civic Lx for 14,000. It's has 55,00 miles on it. I hear that Hondas are good cars, but is this a good deal? Does the Civic lx have any types of problems? What are the good things about it? Or is it just a matter of taking good care of it?

Whether it's a "good deal" or not depends on a few things - what does the edmunds website show for that vehicle? Was has a mechanic told you when you had one do a complete inspection?

Hi yes it should relatively good for another 4 years. That is expected life of this car.

The Honda Civic is one of the most dependable compact cars you can buy. You will not go wrong buying a Civic but not this one at this price. They are pricing it about $2,000 more than it is actually worth. Offer them $12,000 if this is a retail dealer. If it is a private seller then offer them $10,000. http://www.nadaguides.com/Cars/2012/Honda/Civic-4-Cyl/Sedan-4D-LX/Values

Don't know about the price. But a 4 year old Honda, presuming it has been cared for and serviced up to this point should have years of service left. (Way more than 4). Honda have a fine reputation for reliability, far better than their rival Toyota.
