After changing the oil in a Honda Civic 2009 how do reset? - 1

Added (1). I changed the oil in m Honda Civic 2009 but it still say's 15%. How do I reset to 0%?

Check your handbook… Some cars.one of mine does state there's a certain procedure that will reset the service lights. But others you need a special tool to reset it.it plugs into your black box

It's need clean the nozzle of the fuel valve and clean the fuel filter with an air gun

Hi as an oil change is only a small part of a service. This is why it should be done as part of a service other items do need to be checked the inserted dealers diagnostic tester does the reset part. Also when you come to sell your car which will happen one day. If it has been serviced as it should by a dealer it commands a much better price.

  • Oil Change: Honda Motor Oil Vs Generic oil, does it make a difference? I have been getting oil changes with Honda motor oil for 15 years on my 2002 civic that now has 132K miles. If I switch to a generic $10 oil change garage shop will it still be ok? I know the Honda filters are better then the cheapest generic ones but how about the actual motor oil?
