Are Honda civic type r ep3s really sore on fuel?

I was thinking of buying one but was told they are extremely sore on fuel, worse than Subaru and evos. I like the thought of the speed and power but don't think I could afford half my wages on fuel every week

Less efficient than a normal Civic, but I can't imagine them using more than a STI or Evo

I think something around 27 mpg. That's not brilliant for a small Jap hatchback, but it's pretty good for a performance car.

It goes without saying sports cars use much more fuel than a standard car so you buy what you can afford.

  • Is honda unicorn capable for saddle sore challenge? I'm very much interested in saddle sore challenge(crossing 1600 kms in 24 hrs). I bought my unicorn on october 2013. I have ridden 7000 kms till now. I have seen many people had done the challenge in pulsar 150 and 180 and honda dazzler. I wanna know i could complete the challenge or not.is honda CB unicorn capable of doing the challenge(average km/h is 67). Can i tune my honda engine to get it done?
  • Does the fuel tank size have any impact on fuel economy between vehicles? For example the new Honda Accords have a 56 Litre tank while the CRV has a 53 L and the Rogue a 55 L. Now the 2 latters are compact crossovers and are arguably bigger in size than the Accord, so would that mean they are using up more gas? Would that mean its better to buy the Accord if we were going based on just gas mileage?
  • Is the Honda Civic Type R really that powerful? Today this Civic type R was revving me and my friend we were in his Chrysler 200S 2016 at a red light. They both floored it and my friend won he got to a higher speed much faster than the Type R and the Honda driver was trying his best. Is the Type R overrated in speed?
  • Is the Honda Civic 2005 type R the same as the 2005 civic si? I know they are both ep3 body style. But did America sell the type r? Or is every 2005 civic ep3 here a si? And what's the difference between the ep2 and 3. And how hard is it to get a si with under 75,000 nowadays Thank you.
