Can a Honda Civic tow 1500 lbs?

There's a link on google saying a Honda Civic(2014) can tow 1500 lbs. Is it possible? Any civic owners tow with their cars? I'm thinking about a light trailer to haul a lawn mower around.

A light trailer and riding mower will not be 1500 lbs. And so yes you can if thst all yoir going to tow

I've dealt with a lot of Civics and Acura EL's with trailer hitchs so people actually use them to tow stuff. But if i can recall, the user manual recommends that you shouldn't tow anything.

I've seen older Honda vehicle towed small fishing boats, trailer with Bikes etc. Click on these links for more information:

I've guessed it should be alright if your 2014 Civic has "Beef up" cooling system, things like HD Radiator, transmission cooler etc

A trailer with mower equipment will not be 1,500 lbs. Far from that. If the Google link states that, why are you asking here for? I always get amazed at these types of questions here since it is obvious to me that a simple phone call to any Honda dealership can locate accurate information. Why fish around instead of going to the fish market?
