Give me an esimate on the damage done to my 2008 Honda Civic LX?
I hit a deer! I wasn't sure what the cost would to be repair my car! Thanks for your help! On the totals of the parts I smashed do the Bambi wanting to get up close and personal!
My bumper came off on both ends
Grill is bent
Hood is bent in can't open it
Both headlights are broken
Both fenders are broken
The front looks all crooked!
Any ideas? How much to repair?
Hi so what in the motor trade is known as a service write off as the insurance company will say beyond economic repair so cost more than the car is worth now being 7 years old. So they would scrap the car and pay out market value.
Well beyond practical repair: the parts alone (hood, fenders, bumper, grill, lights) , plus labor, paint, etc. Will be a small fortune and you don't know what mechanical damage has been done to radiator, drivetrain, etc. And… Judging from the nasty, rusted wheel - it hasn't been cared for and is a POS not worth fixing.

- Would you buy a used Honda Civic that had no maintenance done? Has 100,000 miles. Only things done were synthetic oil/filter change and air and cabin filters. Spark plugs, ATF, brake fluid, etc never done. Has timing chain. Would you still buy it or would it have problems due to no maintenance being done?
- Will it damage any part of a honda civic 2014 to do this? Put on jack stands take off wheels put the car in drive and run it until it has 150 miles of wheel spin in the air? Don't ask why its complicated. Ill turn off traction control

I have a 92 Honda Civic who I haven't done anything on since I got it 4 months ago it's about to hit 300,000 miles it's at 270, xx0. I don't know much about cars but what should I do besides an oil change? Get new spark plus? Should I buy other parts?
