Defrost not Working in my 98 honda civic?

Everything works fine except when it comes to defrosting my front window. The heater works fine as well as the ac, I don't know if it's normal but when I turn on my ac without pressing any buttons to direct the air it goes straight to my feet( i believe thats normal?). When I press the defrost button, you can hear a humming sound coming from the defroster but no air comes out at all, instead the air goes to the vents on the sides( not the middle vents) and the feet vents mainly. How can I fix this problem folks?

Obviously the cable is broke in the vent system.

It sounds like an actuator is bad or the diverter door is bad.

I had the iPod on shuffle and he changed it to one specific band that I have only 5 songs for. When I tried to use shuffle this morning it would only shuffle five songs and not all the songs I have on my iPod. Is there any way to fix this?

Hi, I have just fitted an aftermarket radio on my 2006 Honda civic and it doesn't allow you to connect the lead from the top display (one which shows radio station, Aircon) to the new radio so there's no power getting to it. Does anyone know if I can get a splitter or something to power the radio and the display?
  • Heating/AC Not Working '97 Civic? About a month ago I installed a new radio in to my '97 Honda Civic. Right after the install, both me heating and AC stopped working. The only thing that I'm able to do is adjust the level of air coming out. Any help would be very much appreciated. Ps. I'm not a car guy, so I know very little.
