Groaning noise on 2015 Civic LX?

Hi, the question says it all.
I recently leased a new 2015 Civic LX and I started noticing that there's some kind of groaning/squeak when I press on the brakes if I'm parked. The noise seems to be coming from the back brakes.

Also, I started noticing that my brakes are grinding if i'm stopping at low speeds.

Could this be an issue that needs to be addressed to honda? Or could it be that the car is still breaking in since its new.

Added (1). The groaning noise also happens when I apply the e brake

Brake grinding is fairly common on new cars try a few hard stops also some late model cars have automatic or electric parking brakes that are released when you press the brake pedal mine has that and I find it VERY irritating

If your brakes are grinding at all, the pads are probably worn through and the rotors are being destroyed. This would sound like you are scraping a rock against pavement.

If the noise you hear is more of a buzzing noise, this is an indicator built into the brake pads to let you know it's time to replace the pads. If this is your noise, and you wait too long, the pads will wear out within a couple hundred miles and you'll need new pads *and* rotors, likely in the rear.

Given that it's a '15 and you have it leased, take it in. Depending on the issue it may be covered under warranty.

Hi No it should go back to Honda immediately. As it has some serious issues.
