Honda Civic with front end problem?
I bought a 1993 Honda Civic cheap a couple months ago when my car got stolen. The car runs well and goes down the road fairly decent. I just got a flat in a front tire. I noticed the tire wore through the tread on the inside part of the tire while the tread on the outside is like new. The other front tire is wearing the same way. When I had the car jacked up I noticed the front wheel has a wiggle when pushed/pulled a little. Do I need to replace the wheel bearings and/or I get the front end of the car checked at a shop? Does the car need an alignment?
You should have a front end shop check the car over. At the least it needs an alignment. However I'm betting you have some worn out components in the front end as well.
Sounds like a bad tie rod end, replace and align, should be around $120. Parts and labor.
- Motorcycle front end shake? It rides nice but if you let go of handle bars the front end will start to shake and it gets worse if you let it go. honda shadow 700 cruiser. The tire is old and has a few cracks. i changed the fluid in the forks with the right stuff but now it shakes much worse. what could be causing this… i want to sell it but not with this problem cuz i'm an honest person
