How much should i sell my 00 civic Si for?
My 2000 Honda Civic Si has 249K on car and transmission. 130k on JDM b16a. Converted to obd1. FF type 2 coilovers. New brakes and control arms. Camber kit on rear. Every thing else is factory. Clutch needs replaced but I have a brand new Exedy performance clutch ($350) still in the box. Ac has been taken out but i have all the parts to put back in. Car needs new hood and paint job. Interior is in Great condition. Car runs but burns oil (typical b16). What should I sell my car for?
You're better off listing it on a specialist website or forum and see what kind of offers you get, or if you are a member of a local car club try putting the feelers out there.
On the broader market, "modified" actually decreases the price you're likely to get, because the average person in the market for a Civic (or any small car) would rather have a completely stock car. They will not care how much you spent on aftermarket parts.
A 2000 Si in "clean" condition at a dealer, with those miles, might sell for about $5000. Yours still needs work, so as a daily driver I wouldn't bid you more than $3500. With the A/C gone… Ooh, even less.

You may get $700, you had me til you said it has over 249k miles. That there's the value killer plus burning oil & clutch bad regardless if part is in the box. Not on the car so its not important.
