How to bypass ignition switch on a honda civic 93?
My car won't stay on unless i hold it in the on possition. When i let go of the key the car turns off. Is there two wires in the ignition switch i can connect together to keep it on as a temporary solution. I took a pic of the switch
? If you're holding the key in the start position, the starter pin is engaging the flywheel. You can't run the car like that.
That pic is doing nothing to help.
To my knowledge part of the solder on the back of the switch gets f'd up and you have to hold key forward to keep it running. When you let off it returns to bad solder portion and dies. Replace it resolder
I'm having the same problem. Can I just replace that part for a 97 del sol

I want to know if there's a way to bypass the transponder and transceiver system for the ignition?
