Is 141,000 on mileage bad?
I recently got a Honda Civic but was shocked to see how high the mileage was.
Is this ok?
ITs not a bad thing. Just make sure the car doesn't need much work. Timing belt if its got one etc. Check your engine for any leaks, check the oil dip stick regularly. Check everything you can check, the under body of the car, air filter. Does it start in one go? When you drive do you hear any weird noices. Has the steering got any play?
After all there are hondas that have hit 1,000,000miles.
Its ok. Honda lasts about 300,000 miles
Its Okay, If it stock and was properly maintained, and was not driven hard.
Not if it is moded and driven hard for racing.
- Should I buy a 2013 car with 100,000 mileage? May I ask for your advice? I found a used car registerd in 2013 at a very cheap price. The brand is excellent - we're talking about Honda, Nissan, Mercedes here. However, its mileage is 100,000. If you were in my situation, would you think it is worthwhile to buy? How long can that kind of car last?
- Would you purchase a 2004 Honda pilot for $6,000.000 that has 216,000 miles on it? I'm just browsing online looking at cars for sale and a lot of them have 200k or more miles on them and they want $4,000 or more. Why do people sale their cars for such a high price with a lot of miles on them? Its not just Hondas its all types of cars private and dealers as well
- Why are motorcycles bad on gas mileage? The other day I was driving my friends 2014 Honda Fit. I noticed that it got about the same gas mileage as my 2011 Honda CBR 600RR.
- How to trust a cars mileage when unplugging the speed sensor stops the mileage from ticking? My speedometer just went out and I noticed the mileage stopped tacking. I did some research and found I just need to replace the sensor. Then after a few youtube videos, I realized that anyone could just unplug the sensor and drive 100k miles, plug it back in, and sell it for a good price. Is there a way to check the history of a cars driving without mileage add-on through its computer to avoid buying from a liar? I'm referring to 1998 honda civics.
