Is there another meaning for hp?
I've been watching some videos because I'd like to Plasti Dip emblems on my car. On the comment section, i noticed people asking how much "hp" is added and i'm not sure what they mean? I do know the joke of some Honda Civic drivers/ricers who think adding stickers to their car means more horse power. Could these people be reffering to a ricer joke or?
I think it's the same little side joke. Like adding flame decals on the side of the car adds 5 horse power, or if you're into sport bikes you choose the lime green Kawasaki over the black one cause it "adds 5hp".
Same joke.
Hi so try HP horsepower was 746 watts of electricity or 100 cc. The modern car is rated not in any of these but BRAKE HORSE POWER measured on a machine called a
Dynamiter this does show that over time and engine wear the BHP decreases with time and mileage. The fact seems to go over the heads of most young men especially americans who have such problems accepting that power is reduced to 50 % after 100k miles.
- Where can I go to service my car for maintenance if I'm in another city? My maintenence light warning came on today on my Honda and I'm currently in another city for work. Can I go the nearest Honda dealer to get it serviced or would I have to go through a mechanic
- What is the meaning of this light? I took my Honda car to a garage to have the front Shock absorbers replaced. That was two days ago. Today after driving for sometimes, the check-engine light went on. The car has only gone approximately 500 Km. I'm at a loss why this light is on. Secondly, is it OK if I drive it for three more days till I get a chance to check into a garage? What would this result into?
- Can a dealer get a vehicle from another make? I have been going online recently, have seen the triumph daytona 675, and would like to look at and (probably) buy one, however the shop in town is a honda motorcycles, will they be able to source a bike from another make or are they stuck with new hondas? (the nearest triumph dealer is a good 2-3 hours drive away)
- How to transfer my auto-loan to another vehicle when trading? I'm a planning to get rid of my Honda to get a Nissan. I still owe about $1.5k on my Honda through Chase Bank. I will also pay $2k more for the Nissan. So basically is there anyway to transfer the loan to my new vehicle? And if possible can I add the $2k onto the loan? So I would then have a $3.5k loan? Basically I'm trading this guy for his Nissan 350z and I will pay him $2000
