Is Wrapping and Plastic Dipping a Car being a Ricer?
I have a 08 Civic Sedan
I kinda dislike the Atomic Blue Metallic Color… So I want to Wrap my Car to a matte White and the Hood & SunRoof Carbon Fiber.
Addition Mods may include:
-LED Headlights (R8 Style with black inner color) to improve visibility and Look of face of car
-and a Carbon Fiber LIP (NOT A SPOILER) there's a difference.
-No Loud Muffler
-Maybe Air Intake ONLY if it IMPROVES Gas Mileage if not I'll leave it stock.
-Plastic Dip my Honda Alloy Wheels Black
-NO body Kits
-No Subwoofer
-Upgrade Radio to a Pioneer TouchScreen with XM, GPS and Back Up Cam.
NO RACING, why would I race a honda? I Just need a car to get me from point A to point B thats fun to drive in College. Any Thoughts?
I think you mean HID headlights.
Don't get the very high color temperature blue ones it looks overdone.
Get 5000K or 6000K.
Don't get the aftermarket "cold air intake". In many cases the manufacturer has already figured out how to grab some cold air for the air box. It can interfere with the Intake Air Temperature Sensor, and often fouls the MAF sensor and the car bogs down and idles rough.
You "just need a car to get from point A to point B that's fun to drive in College".
Atomic Blue Metallic Color would not stop me from enjoying my ride.
Mine is "Linen White" and I'm tired of it. (But it does reflect some heat)
Your top would be carbon fiber black and will be hotter when parked in the sun, great for a northern winter at college.
Wrapping and Plasti-dip arte just Red-neck stuff.
- What's the deal with honda not being able to use coolants with silicates if it makes the coolant better and safer for the engine. Reason? Is it for a reason or just honda wants our cars to last shortly? Any more answers i was checking out that video then checked and notice newer cars don't use the coolant anymore so what's the deal we have to go back to inferior coolant i've read it eats the seals in cars? Any more information?
- How to upgrade my a car without being a ricer? I want to buy a Honda Del Sol or a Acura Integra and put upgrades on either car as time goes on, but I want don't want to be or be known a ricer, I was also considering Buying a 1993 -2002 Chevy Camaro, But The only things I know I want to do for sure is a turbo and a paint job and maybe a a body kit ( Not an obnoxious body kit ).
- How to join plastic fairing? I have a Honda hornet 600. The top rear fairing is 3 pieces that I would like to join together into one seamless piece as well as filling in the seatlock keyhole. I'm uncertain as to what material to use. I would think that traditional body filler would be too brittle. It is plastic so it does flex a little. Any ideas?
- Does power steering fluid get hot if the car is just running and the steering isn't being used? If the pump is just spinning, recirculating fluid and nothing else… Would it still get hot? I had to bypass the pump from the rack and have the fluid recirculate. Would the pump get hot from just spinning? I know 8th gen Honda's don't have a cooler for the power steering anyways.
