Should 2010 Honda civic LX with 182,000 miles and asking price of $5000 be considered for a new driver? - 1
That's a lot of miles. A whole lot of miles for a 2010 car. Sounds like it might have been used commercially, like as a taxi.
I wouldn't buy it. If that's the absolute top of your budget, look for a 2008 or 2009 with under 100,000 miles. Or have the car checked thoroughly by a good mechanic. Especially check the engine and transmission.
182k miles in 6 years is probably from a lot of highway miles which is fine. KBB.com says that the car is worth $4500 in good condition so if you get it inspected by a mechanic it may be a good deal for a new driver.
That's way too money for that high mileage - i wouldn''t pay more than $3000 and it will probably need work
Nope. That's far too many miles for a 6 year old car. The price is cheap but it will need service and maintenance, all cars do, so $5,000 should be considered a down payment on ongoing costs.
Depends entirely on where you live.
Most places that is HIGH mileage yearly.
Visit kbb.com NADA.com and have qualified mechanic test inspection of total car.
That is way overpriced.
- Would you purchase a 2004 Honda pilot for $6,000.000 that has 216,000 miles on it? I'm just browsing online looking at cars for sale and a lot of them have 200k or more miles on them and they want $4,000 or more. Why do people sale their cars for such a high price with a lot of miles on them? Its not just Hondas its all types of cars private and dealers as well
- Bike guys. 92 Honda Shadow. 22,000 miles. Asking $1200. Good deal or not? I'm totally new to street bikes, although I've ridden dirtbikes a lot. Just looking for any insights on the bike itself (I've heard they're fun and reliable) and thoughts on the pricing. I'm not looking for websites or anything, I've already done some research. I'm looking for actual experience.
- What should i do if a Maintenance Required light comes on on my new honda civic with 10,000 miles? I called honda service and they said the required service with a 10,000 miles would about $200.00 and i think i'm getting ripped off.
- Should I buy this 2008 Honda Civic LX for $5,299 (price is negotiable and it has 163,000 miles)? Per the owner, it's been well maintained (I will get an auto shop to inspect it to confirm that). I see a lot of honda civics for sale now, so I do not understand why so many are for sale since they are reliable. Should I buy this vehicle?
