They all are very good cars. My experience with working in a shop would say to go with the honda civic. They are extremely reliable and great on gas. Toyotas last forever but can have issues sometimes and don't always come with all the bells and whistles. Nissan is also good, but they are like toyotas, they can have issues but for the most part reliable. Fuel economy and reliability they are all good but i saw less civics than i did corolla and sentra. But test drive them and see what you like best looks and comfort wise.
Toyota Corolla or Nissan Sentra. It comes down to comfort and your preference of options. The Honda Civic is a money pit. I have personal experience with all three brands.
How about an american made muscle car instead?
Assuming all things equal I would choose the Corolla.
But assuming that all things are equal is a HUGE assumption. You need to consider the condition of the cars, the repair history, the CarFax, the recalls and the willingness of the seller to lower his price.
All three are good.
