What is a good first car?
I live in Ontario canada and I'll be turning 16 soon. I want to at least have my own car for when I get my g2 and can drive alone. My parents will help pay for a beater but don't want to spend to much as they payed for my sisters Honda civic when she turned 16. I would like a manual transmission stick shift and my budget is pretty low. Obviously used. What's a good first car for this that won't kill my insurance as I live in Canada and will most likely be double what my sister payed due to me being a guy.
I would say go for a Nissan S13 Silvia last time I checked you can pick one up for about 2.5K. They are fast, reliable and cheap
A Honda Civic I-S a good first car, for a teenager driver.
A mid-sized sedan is your best bet for insurance. You could go with a Honda Accord, Toyota Camry, Chevy Malibu, or Ford Fusion. All are decent cars. Small cars like the Civic or Corolla are good too, but can be higher on insurance.
- What would be a good first car? I kind of don't want a Honda or a Toyota so are there any other car brands that have reliable cars?
- Is a BMW E30 90-91 a good first car/ project car? I'm looking into getting my first car but also want something to build up and make my own. So far i want a rwd import. No Hondas. Any suggestions?

- Is this a good deal. First car? 98 Honda Civic? http://phoenix.craigslist.org/evl/cto/4475499700.html So the engine was replaced and it has 65K miles on it. Is it worth it? And this would be my first car.
