Why does my car vibrate alot at start up & at idle?
I have a 2008 Honda Civic & it vibrates ALOT when I start it in the morning (avg & when at idle at a stop light. It vibrates less when running, but it comes back when I stop at a red light. It vibrates a bit more when it's on PARK. I would like to know a list (as much as you know) of all the this that can cause it to vibrate, thanks.
Just a quick question, would changing spark plugs really help reduce alot of vibrations, or just a little?
Also, so you know how much it vibrates, when I leave a bottle of water in the cup holder, it creates medium/large water ripples.
Dirty plugs, shorted plug wires, leaky rubber vacuum hose, and other issues can cause vibration at idle, especially when the engine is cold.
- My honda 2001 honda 400ex started smoking and lost alot of power? It smokes pretty badly like a 2 stroke and doesn't have power like it used to. Could it just be the head gasket it does have a litte oil around it? Or could it be more serious valves and rings?
- My honda moped 50cc won't idle or start when i don't rev it? The owner told me the fuel line is blocked or something. Can anyone help me please? I'd like to do it manually because i don't want to bring it to the shop. Might cost alot.
- Why does my car temperature rise when I idle but when i drive it, it's goes back to normal? So I started noticing this problem 2 days ago. I thought I fixed it by refilling the coolant. It was working fine till today again. When I stop on a cross street or I idle, the temperature slowly rises up to the "H" but once I accelerate or move the car, it slowly goes back to normal. My A.c works perfectly either way. What could be the problem? How much would it cost? It's a 2005 Honda civic ex.
- Why does my car make a clicking noise when I start it? I have a 1997 Honda Civic Hatchback with a D16Y8 and it makes a clicking noise when i start it but then it goes away. What could it be? Is my engine blown? I checked the dipstick and it has a good amount of oil. Car is not throwing smoking or leaking oil. I'm scared my engine is blown…
