2006 Mazda 3 outrun a 1998 Nissan Altima gxe?

The Mazda is an ITOURING 2.0l engine with 132 ft lbs of torque and 150 hp with a 5 speed manual.

The Altima on the other hand is a Gxe model with a 5 speed manual with 150 hp and 154 ft lbs of torque 10 points for best answer

My question is, if the Altima driver where to get into a high speed chase with a Mazda 3, would the Mazda 3 be able to outrun it or not?

  • I just bought a 2011 Nissan Altima 2.5s with 160,000 miles on it? I just bought this car two days ago, it looks and drives perfect. I know that is a lot of miles but as long as the rental company kept up with maintenance it should have many more miles on it. Can I put another 50k-100k more miles on it in the future?   • Can car keep up with a 98 Altima gxe or a Mazda 3 through curves and straighaways? I have an 03 Honda Element with the 4 spd auto awd. My question on the highway if my car needed to keep up with a driver in one of these cars, is it capable of doing so or is it underpowered. I mean it makes the most horsepower and torque out of the two. The Mazda 3 is a 2006 3i 5 speed manual and the Altima is an automatic in this case
