Can you install a limited-slip differential (LSD) in a front-wheel drive (FWD) car? - 1

Added (1). Is it possible? I'm planning to get one installed on my 2016 Honda CR-V.

Yes you can. It's a little different than installing one in a rear wheel drive vehicle in that it can create greater understeer instead of oversteer. But it is possible and can definitely help with traction under certain circumstances.

I'm installing Torsen torque-biasing differentials in both front and rear of my 2001 AWD Chevy Astro.

Some. What model?

They do make them for many of the more popular models of transmissions but the kit is not cheap and installation costs a lot because the transmission usually had to come out and come apart. I would estimate at least a $3000 job if you had a shop do it.
