How to remove the rotors on a 2005 Honda CRV 4 wd?

One bolt at a time, Skippy. If you have to ask on THIS forum, then you're probably not competent to do the work anyway. Take the car to a REAL mechanic and pay to have the job done right the first time.

Best thing to do is get yourself a repair manual. That will explain everything and you can do the job right.

Remove the Caliper/Bracket assembly to access rotor (12mm, 17mm). If the 12mm bolt will not break free, you can use a 17mm wrench on the rubber boot side and turn counter clockwise to break rust bond. This seems to be easier than using the bolt head as I could not break it free, ruined the head with vise grips and then was given the suggestion by my wife. Thank Maureen! Saved me alot of time, broke free first time.
After the rotor is free of obstruction, remove the 2 phillips screws and use a blow hammer to free it. A 8" 3 Jaw puller is the easiest way to pull any rotot and a great investment @ < $20. Note: If using a Puller, go slow and tap the REAR rotors with each turn, this will hopefully prevent snagging the rear parking brake that is located in the hub. Hope this helps.
