Check the Freon and compressor, not the fuse.
It's probably NOT a fuse. More likely that your AC compressor has failed, or your system has leaked away most of the refrigerant gas. Either way, you should take your car to a PROFESSIONAL to have it inspected and/or serviced.
What are you talking about? There are a lot of " things " that " control " the AC system and its components. There are fuses, sensors, relays, switches, diodes etc.
YA allows to send only one attachment so I included only one of the three wiring diagrams for the HVAC system on your 2009 CR-V. This came directly out of the Factory manual.
Take a look at all of the RED stars on just one page. Those are the " things " that play a role in the system.
You'll need professional help. Guessing will cost you money and will cost more if you damage some component. I have had vehicle came to my shop for fried PCM or other elctrical/ electronic parts just because people " poking" around with the system without the knowledge how the system works.
I understood completely you want to save money by repair it yourself but on the HVAC of a modern car? I do not mind to help you but you'll have to tell me that you do know about repairing car and understand about the safety and have the needed tooling to do it. My email address is on the included page.
Fuse is the first basic item you will have to check and you are already asked about the fuse locations? Good luck dude. Fuse did not blew from nothing. There was a reason behind the cause that make the fuse blown.
Note: Don't forget to close the question Thank you.
Everyone wants to be a professional these days but truth is fuses can blow for other reasons. I'm an engineer that has been building hot rods / street rods all my life. My Girlfriend for instance had an accident to which during the battery shorted and blew several fuses SO when someone simply ask where a fuse is located, I would think telling them not to put a larger one in and then telling them where would be the correct thing to do.
- Why does my honda Civic heater just blows somewhat warm air? I have a 98Civic Lx and the heater use to work great about a month ago it use to blow hot air to when it would be to hot but now it just blows warm air but mostly cold what can be the problem, the fuses are good!
- Why do all the 15amp fuses keep blowing in my 93 Honda Civic Eg? All of the power circuit fuses keep blowing as soon as I try to start my car. My boyfriend and I re wired everything, but when we turn the car over it won't start and all the fuses for the power blow! 3 in the dash and 1 under the hood… Why?! Someone help!
- My 07 Honda civic type r a/c is blowing warm air out. I've had it regassed at halfords? When I start the ac I hear the fan start and the click. The wheel is spinning the fan is spinning the blades look good condition. Anything else I can check myself with out taking it to the garage.
- A/C Blowing Hot Air! (Honda Civic DX 1998)? So the a/c on the car is strong it blows alot of air except is Warm/Hot air instead of COLD AIR! And since it is an old car i thought maybe it needs a recharge? Or it can be the fan? Because i opened the hood and while the a/c was on the fan seemed not to be working… WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK? (Sorry if i sound dumb… I don't know about cars.lol)
