205-40r17 will they fit my car?
Will 205-40r17 size tires 17" rims fit my 2000 Honda Accord
A 225-40-19 will fit your 05 Accord so a 205-50-17 will definitely fit.BTW-a 205-50-17 is
8.07" wide
4.04" tall-sidewall height
These two measurements will allow you to visualize what the tires will look like once they're mounted or you can go a step further by actually holding a tape measure on top of the existing tire to see how much wider(if any)the new tire is gonna be. Then you can hold the tape measure up to the top edge of the rim and measure upwards 4.04" inches to see how much taller or shorter the new tire will be that way you'll know how much of a gap will exist between the top of the tire and the fender.Installing bigger diameter rims and low profile tires is a good way to reduce fender gap and make the car look as if its been lowered rather than drastically lowering the car with stiff springs that ride like hell. You'll probably have to reprogram the computer so the speedometer will read correctly, depending on how much of a difference there's between the new tires
- Got Honda Civic si rims and they don't fit? I have a 07 Honda Civic hybrid and I just put 07 Honda Civic Si rims on it and just when I moved the car, it made a scratching sound from the front wheel, I read online and some say I need spacers, but can you let me know what king of spacers and size? Please try to send a link with the website that sells them.
- Do people realize how much pain they inflict when they scratch the hell out of a car in a parking lot? I worked my *** off to pay for my car. Today, coming out of work. I noticed someone dinged and made a huge scratch to the metal almost on my Honda Civic Si. What's worse is my car is black, so it's very noticeable. That person doesn't know how hard I worked to buy my car. I love it to death. And they had the audacity to not even leave a note! I hate Houston and the animals that live here.
- Can I put sized 195/65R15 tires on the front of my 2000 honda accord lx coupe V6 if the back tires are 205? I need new tires and I already have a 195 and it would save me so much more money if I could just go buy another one, but I don't want to do it if it's going to be detrimental to my car overall. The back tires are still the stock size, I'd only be changing the front tires.
- 195/70/14 for 98-02 Honda Accord, will they fit? This is for the 4 cylinder i know the stock for these accords are 15's but will a 195/70/14 work will it harm the transmission or suspension
